Argo-Anleg GmbH exhibited at the Hannover Messe from 22 to 26 April. As part of “Hydrogen + Fuel Cells Europe”, the company presented its latest developments in the field of hydrogen technology.
Engaged discussions and knowledge sharing
Following a successful online webinar together with Hydrogen Moves, Argo-Anleg met with Silke Frank, Managing Director and Vice President of the DWV (German Hydrogen Association) at the trade fair. They discussed which steps are now necessary to intensify political support for hydrogen technologies. After the trade fair, the CEP (Clean Energy Partnership e.V.) and DWV and its members published an open letter to the government, which Argo-Anleg did not sign due to a lack of membership, but supported. The main demands of the letter were
- The immediate resumption of funding for hydrogen mobility.
- The rapid approval of funding applications that have already been submitted.
- Continued support for the expansion of hydrogen infrastructure.
- Further information on the open letter
Technological highlights
Argo-Anleg presented numerous innovative products at the trade fair:
- Demo Tank, ISO Type IV, 700bar
- TPRD-S for stationary applications
- TPRS-R, a rotatable TPRD for tank installation
- OTV (On-Tank-Valve) with integrated TPRD
- IR ring for communication during refuelling
- A type IV controller for monitoring and controlling refuelling systems
- GHU (Gas Handling Unit), which is used in various sectors
Strategic expansion and market positioning
Argo-Anleg is planning to expand in Germany soon in order to take full advantage of the growing hydrogen market. Despite international offers, the company is reaffirming its commitment to the German market. Argo-Anleg is pursuing a strategy that emphasises subtle presence and direct customer proximity rather than large advertising budgets. This approach has proved successful in prototype development and is now to be continued in series production. One highlight was the presentation of a 3D-printed demonstrator of an MEGC that can be used both on the road and for supplying inland waterway vessels.
Conclusion
With its active participation at the Hannover Messe and ongoing commitment to hydrogen, Argo-Anleg has cemented its role as a pioneer in hydrogen technology. The company continues to focus on innovative solutions that advance hydrogen technology while providing cost-effective and practical applications for industry and mobility.
