Elaborate Hydrogen Technology

From individual components to holistic H2 system integrations

The products and services of Argo-Anleg GmbH cover the entire performance spectrum of modern hydrogen technology. We supply our customers with mature and proven individual components in H2 valve technology. We supply tested and ready-to-operate systems for the production, transport and use of hydrogen. But what we like best is to plan and realise complex overall solutions for holistic H2 system integrations. Decide for yourself how far into the future you want to travel with us today.

H2 valve technology

LP GHU 15

Gas handling unit (GHU) for hydrogen gas, which operates in particular in the range from 3 bar to 15 bar. It combines several functions of a gas control line in a common housing. Integrated components are a filter in the overflow valve, an on/off solenoid valve and the pressure control and safety devices.

HP GHU 350

Gas Handling Unit (GHU) for hydrogen gas in the pressure range from 20 to 350 bar. This product integrates the following components in one central unit: pressure regulating valve, overpressure safety unit, temperature sensor, low-pressure measuring device, high-pressure measuring device.

HP GHU 700

Gas Handling Unit (GHU) for hydrogen gas in the pressure range from 40 to 700 bar. This product integrates the following components in one central unit: pressure regulating valve, overpressure safety unit, temperature sensor, low-pressure measuring device, high-pressure measuring device.

MOTV (MANUAL ON-TANK VALVE)

The manual cut-in valve is fitted to a high-pressure hydrogen tank. The valve measures the temperature of the gas inside the tank and has the function of safely releasing the gas from the tank at an outside temperature of 110 °C via a temperature pressure relief device (TPRD).

THERMAL-PRESSURE-RELIEF-DEVICE NON ROTATABLE

This thermal pressure relief device (TPRD) was developed to relieve tanks and containers in case of overheating. When the reaction temperature is reached, a glass ampoule is destroyed so that the hydrogen can escape from the tank via a safety vent. The special feature of this TPRD is its rotatable installation option.

H2 tank systems

Ships / Containers

Argo-Anleg has developed the swap container refuelling system, “multiple-elements gas containers (MEGCs)”, for inland shipping, which can fill an inland vessel with green gaseous hydrogen in a very short time.

TO THE PRODUCT >

TRAINS

For use in trains, Argo-Anleg has developed an H2 tank system that can be integrated into the train’s roof structure to save space.

TO THE PRODUCT >

BUSES

For use in buses, Argo-Anleg has developed an accident-proof H2 tank system that can be integrated into the roof structure of the bus to save space.

TO THE PRODUCT >

TRUCKS

The Argo-Anleg tank system for trucks is designed to be placed vertically directly behind the cab. It can accommodate up to five horizontal high-pressure storage tanks.

TO THE PRODUCT >

CARS

Compact, lightweight and safe is the H2 tank system from Argo-Anleg for passenger cars. The weight of the overall system is reduced by the development of a proprietary gas handling unit (GHU).

H2 filling stations

MOBILE FILLING STATIONS

Argo-Anleg has developed a stationary fast-charging station for cars, e-scooters, e-scooters and e-bikes, which is based on a mobile trailer and can thus be set up at any location.

STATIONARY FILLING STATIONS

Our hydrogen refuelling stations range from a capacity of 500 kg to 10,000 kg per day at 350 and 700 bar, covering the requirements of automobiles as well as light-load and heavy-load applications such as buses and trucks.

Stationary hydrogen filling stations

Argo-Anleg offers stationary hydrogen filling stations from 500 kg to 10,000 kg per day at pressures from 350 bar for commercial vehicles up to 700 bar for passenger cars. Argo-Anleg GmbH has realised a stationary hydrogen filling station for Regionalverkehr Köln GmbH in Meckenheim. Fuel cell buses are refuelled at 350 bar at the depot. The filling station has been in operation since 2020.
